On May 29th, we hosted a Bike Rodeo & Safety Day at the Uniplex for Grade 1–5 students from St. Dominic and HPS. Despite the hot temperatures and strong winds, it was a fantastic day filled with learning and fun!
Students practiced hand signals, learned the rules of the road, and navigated obstacle courses designed to build cycling skills and confidence. They also visited a variety of safety booths to learn about water safety, fire safety, rail safety, brain injury prevention, proper helmet fitting and a bike tune up station.
A big thank you to all of our participating organizations, volunteers, staff, and sponsors who helped make this event possible. Your support and dedication to promoting safety in our community are greatly appreciated. We hope all of the students left with valuable safety knowledge and a memorable experience! Special shout out to Humboldt Canadian Tire for lending us bikes for students to borrow as well as the donation of helmets! Thank you so much to the below partnering agencies for participating in our safety day, your involvement was so greatly appreciated!

On July 9th we hosted our 2nd annual Bike Fest & Safety Quest!
A huge thank you to all the families who came out to learn, ride, and have fun while building important safety skills. From bike safety and obstacle courses to interactive safety stations, it was a great day filled with smiles, learning, and community spirit.
