May 15th-October 15th we ran our annual Positive Ticketing Campaign, where kids and new student drivers were provided tickets when caught making safe choices on their wheels. 
Ticket recipients were able to turn their ticket in for great prizes provided by Community Leisure Services – City of Humboldt, Humboldt Co-op, SaskTel, Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce and SGI. This program was made possible, due in part to sponsorship received from SGI and SaskTel, we are very grateful.
Thank you to everyone who participated and to our community partners Humboldt Protective Services, Humboldt & District Ambulance – EMS and Humboldt RCMP for distributing the tickets, we know it’s an exciting day for the kids when they get to interact with you up close and personally! Thank you for keeping an eye out for youth being safe this summer!
A big congratulations to Orin, the grand prize winner of our Positive Ticketing campaign! Orin was ticketed for wearing his helmet while out for a bike ride with his mom. Kudos to his parents for instilling the importance of wearing a helmet while biking, at such a young age! Orin won a Bluetooth speaker and a bag jam packed full of fun items including a wooden whistle, foam hockey puck, lights for his bike, sticker/story book, water bottle and more from our safety program partners: CN Rail, SaskTel, SGI, SaskWater, Humboldt Co-op and Nutrien Lanigan.
