Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closure of schools, public lockdowns and health restrictions, Safe Communities Humboldt & Area was unable to conduct our 2020 program days originally scheduled for May 6th and May 13th, 2020. The program was postponed to 2021.
With the ongoing health restrictions and school protocols in spring of 2021, Safe Communities Humboldt & Area adapted our regular in person P.A.R.T.Y. Program to a virtual format in order to continue provide this valuable safety messaging to area schools.
Our generous and patient sponsors worked with us to allow the program to be modified and proceed over the course of four weeks, being offered virtually on May 5th, May 12th, May 19th, and May 26th, 2021.
This program was delivered virtually via the Zoom platform to students from Humboldt Collegiate Institute, Annaheim, Englefeld, Bruno, Lake Lenore, Lanigan, Muenster and Three Lakes Schools. The program saw 1158 students attend the program over four days along with 34 educators and school staff, 9 community volunteers, and 23 professional volunteers to assist in conducting the program and related activities.
