We are very excited to announce that we will be holding our 4th Annual Bike Rodeo & Safety Day!
June 18th, from noon until 3pm in the Humboldt Curling Rink.There will be a BMX & Trials Demo at the Skate Park at 3:15pm (If weather is a factor, the demo will be held indoors at the Elgar Petersen Arena)Once again this year’s event will be held in conjunction with the Humboldt Summer Sizzler.If you’ve attended in the past you’ll want to come back to see the new additions to this great event!There will be lots to do for all ages – children, youth and adults!And the best part – it’s all free!!

Confirmed Activities & Groups Involved:

  • Bicycle Helmet Giveaway & Fitting courtesy of Humboldt Emergency Services (first 100 participating youth 16 and under)
  • Safe Communities Humboldt & Area is providing one youth bicycle for the raffle (all participating children 14 and under are eligible)
  • CO Alarm and Smoke Detector Alarm Giveaway courtesy of Kidde Canada (first 60 participating families in attendance)
  • Bicycle & Equipment Safety Checks courtesy of the Humboldt Fire Department
  • 2 Obstacle Courses to test your skills at and receive instruction in 
  • BMX & Trials Riders – Pro and Semi Pro
  • RCMP Traffic Division Motorcycle Unit Demo
  • Acquired Brain Injury Team ATV & UTV Safety 
  • Discovery Ford & Ford Canada Impaired Driver Suit – simulating alcohol or drug impaired driving
  • SaskPower Electrical Hazard Challenge – Farm & Home
  • Canadian Red Cross & Humboldt Aquatic Centre Water & Boating Safety Display
  • Humboldt Fire Department, RCMP and Humboldt & District Ambulance Service will also be on hand.

Please note, this event is meant to be an opportunity to enhance ones skills level, therefore children in attendance should already have riding experience.
